As a kid I’d spend hours and hours making up scenarios to create for. My Christmas and birthday lists were often filled with art supplies or camera equipment, so it's no surprise I ended up where I’m at.
My passion for creating led to me to start my own photography business, Joey K. Photography, in 2009, and then to Kent State University in 2010, where I’d study Visual Communication Design. After an internship with Akron Life Magazine and working for student-run design studio Glyphix, I’d start my job with Progressive Insurance’s in-house agency 96 Octane in 2014. Over the past 4 years I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects including print, digital, experiential design, and photography.
